At the Burleson Pregnancy Aid Center we believe that everyone should have access to services where health and sexual wellbeing are concerned.  That is why all of our services are free.

The PREPARE Program

Who is the Prepare program for?

Prepare is for any young woman who is either pregnant, or recently had a baby and is looking for support, friendship, and assistance.

What does Prepare offer?

• SUPPORT - The Prepare Client Advocates understand the concerns that come along with pregnancy or being a new mother or father.  We are dedicated to providing a loving, confidential environment in which you can comfortably share these concerns.
   
• EDUCATION - Classes include: childbirth, parenting, labor and delivery information, and newborn care.
   
• REFERRALS - Prepare Client Advocates will help you locate needed Medicaid, housing, adoption and social services.
   
• SPECIAL CARE & SUPPORT - This program is available for women and men considering the loving option of adoption.
   
• PREPARE BABY BOUTIQUE -  Located inside the Burleson Pregnancy Aid Center, the Prepare Baby Boutique has beautiful, brand new (donated) items for babies and can be obtained with Baby Bucks from the Prepare Program.
   
• Baby Bucks can also be used at Rachel's Hope Resale - Shop for home, clothing, maternity or baby items with the "Baby Bucks" you will earn.

Joy in the Mourning:

Finding Hope, Healing and Reconciliation

Pregnancy termination or Abortion has affected millions of men and women in many different ways.  It is our hope to help bring healing to these men and women. 

You don't have to face the pain of abortion/pregnancy termination alone.  Healing involves changing the way we think and act.

Joy in the Mourning is here to help women and men who are hurting after an abortion/pregnancy termination.  We will walk beside you through the healing process.  We offer recovery support groups every spring and fall.   We use a study called Her Choice to Heal, by Sydna Masse and Linda Perry that is designed to help you find forgiveness and peace.

Joy in the Mourning is a program that offers help and healing to women and men who are suffering from the emotional and spiritual wounds of their pregnancy terminations. In our recovery groups, these women can find forgiveness and hope for their future.

Our purpose is to provide a refuge (a safe place) for women to share their feelings and be set free from the pain of their past abortions/terminations; experience forgiveness and wholeness.
